During National Health Center Week, we cut the ribbon on our new Figueroa Care Center. A critical new access point for urgent, same-day care in South Los Angeles, the first of its kind the neighborhood. Thirty years ago, UMMA opened its doors to serve this community regardless of a person’s ability to pay. This center is the next chapter of that promise, and it was made possible by the donors, partners, and public leaders who have walked alongside us every step of the way.
